As usual, school sucks. But more specifically, Ms. Prouse sucks and so does her whole library. Don't bother turning you books in, they won't check them in. They don't want you to succeed in life. If you were stuck being a librarian for a high school, would you want anyone to succeed? Librarian is worse than janitor. At least janitors are useful. Why does Ms. Prouse stand in the hallway and talk on her telephone. You know she's not ordering new books. She's talking to her bookie. She is a compulsive gambler, at least that's my guess. Why else would she be a librarian if she wasn't in dire need of money. So, to finish off with today's news, you can get out of school early if you just pretend to be looking for a pass in your bookbag. The guard will say, nevermind, I don't want to hold you up, and let you go. Just pretend to have a pass.
